Lausanne launches 2009 Students Call for Proposals
Nokia Research Center has announced they will be launching a "Students' Call for Proposals" on February 16th, 2009. In the first round, students at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland) will be able to submit ideas related to mobile applications or services with a special emphasis on social interaction. A second round will be held for students to implement their ideas on Nokia N810 Web tablets, supported by access to the Nokia Application Develop Lab on campus. The best ideas in each round will be rewarded with a recent-model Nokia device.

NOKIA SPORTS TRACKER
Sports Tracker is a GPS- based activity tracker that runs on Nokia smartphones. Information such as speed, distance and time are automatically stored in your training diary, and stored with your workouts and routes.
